Project Purpose and Scope
The project adds three new above-ground Jet A-1 storage tanks to meet increasing aviation fuel demand at Changi Airport. New tanks will integrate with existing infrastructure, adding 20 to 24 million liters of storage for operational resilience and supply continuity. Implementation of IPA requirement for a backup of critical infrastructure against single point of security incident. The expansion focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, operational alignment, scalability, and security by design.
The Project includes the enhancement of advance safety features which are
- fire protection, modern instrumentation,
- maintainability to ensure robust and secure operations.
